CTA Test
As a data practitioner, you've undoubtedly noticed the increasing adoption of BI analytics across your company – that's fantastic news! However, as the number of charts and dashboards continues to grow, keeping them well-organized can become a challenge, especially when you aim to make them easily discoverable and shareable with your team and key stakeholders.
That’s why we built content tags, which will help streamline the organization of charts, dashboards, and saved queries in Apache Superset and Preset Cloud to make data discovery, access, and collaboration effortless for everyone in your organization.
In Preset, we're also introducing enhancements in the coming weeks to simplify tag creation and curation, as well as provide instant access to frequently used content.
Curate BI content effortlessly
Using flexible and customizable tags, content creators can curate charts, dashboards, and saved queries for their organization, aiding in the discovery of data and information. Each piece of content can have multiple tags, providing flexibility in organizational structures to accommodate various ways of organizing assets (e.g., “Sales Dashboard" could be tagged as Sales Team
, Internal
, Key Metrics
, Leadership Review
, etc.).
Discover relevant data and analytics with ease
Finding and searching for tagged content is easy. Search using tag names from any of the Dashboard, Charts, or Saved Queries pages. On our newly created "Tags" page, users can easily access all content items tagged with a specific keyword, facilitating the discovery of dashboards related to similar topics and interests. Tags can be utilized to organize assets into collections for teams, business lines, product categories, and more.
Manage tags with workspace roles
In Preset, tag permissions are initially linked to workspace roles, simplifying the management and maintenance of organizational structures. Only workspace administrators have the authorization to create, edit, and delete tags, thus preventing issues such as duplicates, disarray, and unclear tags. Content creators can apply tags to their created content, and individuals with viewing access can locate tagged content as permitted by their data access roles.
Pin them for instant access
If your organization has many users and content, it can still be a challenge to locate and access the most critical charts and dashboards tagged with specific keywords. In the coming months, you'll have the capability to pin your favorite assets to Preset's Homepage, enabling you to access them instantly upon logging into Preset.
